Papaver ‘Black Swan’
Approx. 250 seeds.
A spectacular annual poppy with huge, deeply fringed blooms in rich, velvety black‑red. ‘Black Swan’ is one of the most dramatic poppies you can grow, producing ruffled, feathery flowers on tall, elegant stems that sway beautifully in the summer breeze. Perfect for cottage gardens, wildflower plantings and moody, atmospheric borders. Easy to grow and best sown direct, it thrives in poor, well‑drained soil and full sun. Plants self‑seed lightly, returning year after year in a natural, informal way. Excellent for cutting if stems are seared at the base.
