Papaver somniferum ‘Mixed’
Approx. 200 seeds.
A vibrant mix of poppies in pinks, purples and whites with single, double and ruffled flower heads, giving a stunning late‑spring display. Plants develop large, nodding buds that stay curled downward for several days before lifting upright as the blooms open. These are followed by bold, ornamental seed heads that extend the season and are every bit as attractive as the flowers. Poppies self‑seed easily, returning year after year with effortless charm.
Grow in full sun and well‑drained soil. Direct sow only — poppies resent root disturbance and do not transplant well. Lightly rake over the seed to cover and allow germination to take place over 14–21 days. Ideal for borders, cottage gardens and naturalised planting.
