Wallflower ‘Scarlet Emperor’ brings vivid colour and sweet scent to the spring garden — a true harbinger of warmer days ahead. Its rich orange‑to‑scarlet blooms are bold, bright and beautifully fragrant, making it a standout in beds, borders and cottage‑garden plantings.
Very easy to grow and wonderfully rewarding, this variety responds brilliantly to the simple “sow and forget” approach: scatter seed over bare patches in mid‑August and enjoy flowers the following April. Although technically a short‑lived perennial, it performs far better as a hardy biennial.
