Sweet Sultan is a beautifully scented summer annual, reminiscent of cornflowers, with masses of light, feathery blooms in shades of rose, lemon, lilac, purple and white. It’s a brilliant choice for summer bedding and makes a lovely cut flower too, bringing soft colour and fragrance indoors.
Flowering from June right through to September, it’s a real show‑stopper in borders and cottage‑garden plantings. Sweet Sultan self‑seeds freely, creating natural drifts over time, and is excellent for attracting butterflies, bees and other pollinators.
