Sweet Rocket (Hesperis Matronalis), Crown Mix

Sweet Rocket (Hesperis matronalis) is a charming biennial with clouds of white, lilac and deep purple flowers that resemble honesty, bringing soft colour and movement to early–mid summer borders. Each packet produces a natural mix of shades, and if allowed to self‑seed, this diversity will continue year after year, gradually naturalising into beautiful drifts.

The fragrance is one of its greatest joys — sweet and violet‑like, and most pronounced in the evening — making it perfect for cottage gardens, wildlife borders and any spot where you can enjoy its scent at dusk. It thrives in sun or partial shade and looks especially lovely when allowed to wander naturally.

Deadhead to prolong flowering, but leave some blooms to set seed so it can gently spread around the garden.
