Sweet Pea ‘Painted Lady’
Approx. 20 seeds.
A charming, historic bicolour sweet pea with soft rose‑pink and creamy white blooms. ‘Painted Lady’ is one of the oldest known varieties, treasured for its delicate colouring, graceful habit and sweet, classic fragrance. It flowers freely over a long season, producing slender stems ideal for cutting and bringing cottage‑garden romance to trellises, arches and wigwams.
Grow in full sun in fertile, moist but well‑drained soil. Sow indoors in autumn or early spring, or direct in spring once the soil has warmed. Pinch out young plants to encourage bushiness and provide strong support as they climb. Regular picking encourages more blooms.
