Sunflower ‘Soluna Lemon’ (Helianthus debilis)

‘Soluna Lemon’ is a beautifully soft, pale‑yellow sunflower from the Helianthus debilis group — smaller, bushier and far more floriferous than the classic tall types. It produces masses of delicate lemon‑coloured blooms with dark centres, giving a light, airy feel to borders, pots and wildlife‑friendly planting. The flowers are charming rather than bold, perfect for gardeners who prefer gentle colour over towering drama.
Compact, branching and wonderfully free‑flowering, this variety thrives in full sun and well‑drained soil, coping well with heat and coastal conditions. It’s excellent for pollinators, long‑flowering through summer, and ideal for containers, cottage borders and relaxed, naturalistic planting.
