Spinach ‘Giant Winter’ is a hardy winter variety with large, dark green leaves and excellent flavour, standing well in cold weather and providing reliable greens when little else is growing. It’s ideal for sowing from June to September, giving you a steady supply of fresh leaves through the colder months.
Harvest by picking a few leaves from each plant rather than stripping a whole plant, snapping them off close to the ground. Even if you have more ready than you need, regular picking encourages a continual flush of young, tender growth.
