Asparagus ‘Ariane’ F1
Standard pack: 10 seeds.
A high‑quality, reliable variety that produces tall, slender green spears with tight, purple‑tipped buds and excellent flavour. It’s a strong, vigorous plant that establishes well and will reward you with generous harvests for many years once settled.
As with all asparagus, it’s important to limit your picking in the first couple of years to allow the crowns to build strength. A little patience early on means a much heavier, longer‑lasting crop in the seasons that follow.
The spears are delicious sautéed, steamed or stir‑fried, and ‘Ariane’ is known for its tender texture and sweet, clean taste — a real treat in the early summer kitchen.
