Savoy Cabbage ‘Vertus’ is a hardy, reliable winter variety with the classic crinkled, blistered leaves that make savoys so valuable in the coldest months. These flat, round heads are grey‑green, very tough, and stand well without splitting, even in harsh weather.
Savoys are the hardiest of all the cabbages, providing welcome fresh greens when little else is ready. ‘Vertus’ is late to mature but worth the wait, offering dependable winter harvests and excellent flavour for hearty, cold‑season cooking.
