Salpiglossis ‘Café au Lait’ is an upright annual with slender stems and wavy‑edged leaves, producing beautiful funnel‑shaped flowers from summer into autumn. This variety has an especially intriguing colour palette: coffee‑coloured petals etched with deep purple veins and finished with golden‑yellow centres. It’s a striking choice for adding richness and interest to a sunny border.
Salpiglossis grows best in warm summers, preferring a humus‑rich, moist but well‑drained soil in a sunny, sheltered spot protected from cold winds.
