This new wasabi‑flavoured rocket brings a bold, spicy kick, with a heat surprisingly close to wasabi or horseradish. More vigorous than standard wild rocket, it has a distinct leaf shape, deep green colour and a strong texture that stands up well in salads, sandwiches and stir‑fries.
Leaves can be harvested young for baby leaf from around 30–35 days after sowing, and the flavour intensifies as they mature. In hot weather, a little shade helps prevent the leaves becoming tough or overly strong.
