Pepper, Thor F1

Pepper ‘Thor F1’ produces long, horn‑shaped fruits with a mild, sweet flavour and a satisfyingly thick skin. The peppers are slightly curved, tapering to a neat point, and ripen from mid‑green to an intense deep red that darkens as they mature. Fruits typically reach around 6cm wide and 21cm long — and under good conditions, a single plant can produce up to 50 peppers.

As easy to grow as tomatoes and needing much the same care, peppers can be grown outdoors in a warm, sheltered, sunny spot, though the best and most reliable results usually come from a greenhouse or polytunnel. They’re delicious raw in salads, and equally good cooked — perfect for stuffing, roasting or adding to sauces.
