Pepper, Californian Wonder

Pepper ‘Californian Wonder’ produces large, square‑shaped fruits with a mild, sweet flavour and is best harvested while still green for the finest taste and texture. It’s an easy variety to grow, needing much the same treatment as tomatoes, and is a great choice for both beginners and experienced growers.

Plants can be grown outdoors in a warm, sheltered, sunny spot, but you’ll get the most reliable results in a greenhouse or polytunnel. The fruits are wonderfully versatile — delicious raw in salads, or cooked, stuffed, roasted or added to sauces.
