Penstemon digitalis ‘Mystica’
Approx. 20 seeds.
A hardy perennial with deep purple‑bronze foliage and tall spires of soft lavender‑pink flowers. Upright, elegant and long‑flowering, ‘Mystica’ brings height, contrast and movement to sunny or lightly shaded borders, with foliage that keeps its rich colour from spring to autumn. Loved by bees and reliably hardy once established, it’s an easy, rewarding choice for mixed borders. Sow early for flowering the same year, or sow in summer for flowering the following year.
Surface sow or lightly cover on moist compost. Germination takes 14–30 days and needs light plus gentle temperature fluctuations. Keep seedlings bright and frost‑free, then plant out after the last frost into fertile, moist but well‑drained soil.
