Italian Giant Parsley is a hardy, vigorous variety that stands up far better to winter weather than curled types — yes, even UK winters. It germinates easily and produces a strong, aromatic plant with large, bright green flat leaves and a bold flavour that’s widely used in cooking and in bouquet garni.
Rich in vitamins, it can be used raw as a garnish or in salads, or added to sauces, soups and countless recipes during cooking. Although it freezes well, it’s such a resilient herb that you’ll often have fresh leaves available year‑round. It’s also an ideal plant for a sunny kitchen windowsill, keeping fresh flavour close at hand.
