Mustard ‘Red Giant’

A bold, fast‑growing leafy mustard with large, savoyed red‑purple leaves and green veining. ‘Red Giant’ is colourful, vigorous and wonderfully versatile — harvest young for mild, tender salad leaves or let it mature for a stronger, peppery flavour ideal for stir‑fries, soups and pickling. The foliage deepens in colour during cooler weather and stays productive over a long season.
Hardy and reliable, this variety thrives in full sun or light shade and grows well in beds, borders, raised beds and containers. Perfect for cut‑and‑come‑again harvesting and a great way to add both flavour and ornamental value to the veg patch. Sow thinly in shallow drills 1cm deep and 30cm apart; succession sow for a continuous supply.
