Better known as Baby’s Breath, Gypsophila ‘Covent Garden’ is an elegant, airy addition to beds, borders and containers. It forms lacy grey‑green foliage and slender stems topped with masses of small, delicate pure‑white flowers from June to August. These cloud‑like blooms are a magnet for pollinators, drawing bees and butterflies into the garden.
Deadhead regularly through the season to keep plants flowering for longer. If you’re growing gypsophila for cutting, take the longest stems you can, strip the lower leaves and place them straight into a clean bucket of water for best vase life.
