Eschscholzia (California Poppy), White Linen

Eschscholzia ‘White Linen’ is the ultimate self‑seeder, happily growing almost anywhere and producing a profusion of silky, diamond‑white blooms with a soft hint of cream at the centre. Each delicate 5cm cup sits on slender stems above a cloud of feathery blue‑green foliage, creating a light, shimmering effect in the garden.

Dainty yet remarkably hardy, these annuals thrive on poor, dry soils where many other plants struggle. The papery flowers are rich in nectar, attracting bees and hoverflies, and they make lovely — if short‑lived — cut flowers for small arrangements.

Perfect for beds, borders and gravel gardens, where they’ll gently self‑seed to form natural drifts year after year.
