Echinacea purpurea (Purple Coneflower)

Approx. 50 seeds. A bold, architectural perennial that brings long‑lasting colour and structure to summer borders. Echinacea purpurea produces large purple‑red blooms with strong orange centres, flowering steadily from midsummer into early autumn. Plant in generous clumps for real impact — the upright stems, textured petals and warm tones make it a standout in wildlife‑friendly gardens.

Highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinators, echinacea is also drought‑tolerant once established and excellent for cutting. Sturdy stems hold well in the vase, and plants reach around 90–100cm tall, adding height, movement and reliability to mixed borders. Thrives in full sun and well‑drained soil.
