Digitalis lanata ‘Café Crème’
Standard pack: 100 seeds.
One of the most unusual foxgloves you can grow — so distinctive it’s not always instantly recognisable as a foxglove at all. The flowers are carried on classic upright spikes, but instead of the familiar hanging bells, each bloom is rounded and intricate: white with dense brown netting, a broad creamy lip and a glowing yellow interior. The effect is a column of curious, almost comical, gaping mouths.
A perennial species that will even flower in its first year, ‘Café Crème’ brings structure, texture and a touch of the unexpected to borders. It thrives in sun or partial shade and pairs beautifully with grasses, umbellifers and naturalistic planting schemes.
