Cornflower ‘Snowman’ brings a brilliant, crisp white to cottage‑garden borders, adding light, contrast and depth for months on end. It keeps the relaxed, informal charm of traditional cornflowers, but its bright white blooms act as natural highlights, lifting surrounding colours beautifully. It’s also perfect for annual meadow schemes and is highly attractive to bees.
For best results, grow in full sun and moist but well‑drained soil. The wiry stems may need a little support in exposed or windy spots. Deadhead regularly to keep the flowers coming through summer, but allow some blooms to set seed towards autumn — the dried seedheads provide valuable food for birds and often self‑seed gently for the following year.
A striking, easy annual that brings freshness, movement and wildlife to borders, meadows and cutting patches.
