Cinnamon Basil is an upright, hAlf hardy herb, but grown as an annual in the UK, with aromatic, dark green foliage with reddish-purple veins and a distinctive cinnamon-like aroma and fspicy flavour.
Attractive spikes of small, tubular, pink-purple flowers appear in summer. Flowers may appear from July onwards, pinch out flowers to prolong the harvesting period
Noted for both its ornamental and culinary value
