Chilli ‘Small Red Cherry’
Standard pack: 15 seeds.
Produces round, cherry‑sized fruits that are traditionally used for stuffing, especially in Mediterranean and Balkan cooking. They’re relatively mild compared to many chillies, offering more flavour than heat, and their thick, juicy flesh makes them perfect for preserving in jars of olive oil.
These chillies are excellent for cooking, as they lose around half their heat when heated but retain a rich, fruity flavour. To prepare for stuffing, simply cut around the stalk and scoop out the seeds with a teaspoon. They’re delicious filled with soft cheese, tuna or herbs, then roasted or preserved.
Plants are compact and productive, making them ideal for pots, patios or greenhouse growing. Regular picking encourages even heavier cropping.
