Carrot ‘Cosmic Purple’

A striking, deep‑purple carrot with a bright orange core and sweet, earthy flavour. ‘Cosmic Purple’ brings colour to beds, borders and kitchen plates, with roots that hold their colour beautifully when roasted. The crisp texture makes it excellent for salads, snacking and juicing, and it’s a brilliant way to add interest to the veg patch.
Easy to grow in loose, stone‑free soil, this variety performs well in raised beds and deep containers. Sow little and often from early spring to late summer for a steady harvest. Roots mature quickly and pull cleanly, with strong tops that make lifting easy. A great choice for colourful veg gardens, children’s plots and anyone wanting something a bit different.
