Cabbage ‘Red Drumhead’ forms solid, round heads with crisp, tightly packed hearts in a rich purple‑red colour. It’s a versatile variety that holds its texture well, making it ideal for pickling, shredding, braising and adding vibrant colour to cooked dishes.

A reliable autumn cropper, it’s ready to harvest from September onwards, producing firm, uniform heads that store well and stand proudly in the plot. Strong, flavourful and easy to grow, it’s a staple red cabbage for any kitchen garden.
