Borecole ‘Red Ruble’

A beautifully coloured borecole producing finely frilled leaves with deep red‑purple stems and a mild, sweet flavour. ‘Red Ruble’ is fast‑growing and versatile, perfect for baby‑leaf salads or left to mature into full‑size plants for cooking. The young leaves are tender and vibrant, while mature foliage develops richer colour and a gentle, earthy sweetness.
This variety is hardy, productive and ideal for cut‑and‑come‑again harvesting. It thrives in full sun or light shade and grows well in beds, borders, raised beds and containers. Sow little and often for a steady supply of colourful, nutritious leaves from spring through autumn.
