Bells of Ireland

Bells of Ireland (Moluccella laevis) is a flower‑arranger’s delight, producing tall, elegant spikes lined with large, bright green cup‑shaped calyces. These striking stems add height, structure and a fresh green note to bouquets, and they’re just as beautiful used fresh as they are dried for winter arrangements.

Plants flower from August to September and are well suited to borders, cottage gardens and mixed plantings. They prefer a sunny spot with well‑drained soil and will reward you with long, architectural stems that stand out beautifully among summer flowers. Cut regularly to encourage more growth, or leave some stems to dry naturally for later use.
