Beetroot ‘Avalanche F1’
Standard pack: 100 seeds.
Avalanche F1’ produces smooth, pure‑white roots with a round, uniform shape and a wonderfully sweet, tender flavour. The flesh stays crisp even when grown to a good size, and because it’s completely white, it won’t stain chopping boards, hands or kitchen counters. A brilliant alternative to Detroit White, with improved flavour and reliability.
Fast to grow and easy to handle, this variety performs well in most soils and is ideal for raised beds, containers and succession sowing. The roots pull cleanly, the leaves are edible, and the mild flavour makes it perfect for salads, roasting and preserving. A great choice for gardeners who want something a little different from the usual red varieties.
