Verbena bonariensis: Tall, slender stems reaching upwards of a metre carry tight clusters of airy lilac‑purple flowers that float beautifully above borders, adding height without heaviness. A favourite with pollinators and a brilliant cut flower, it brings movement and colour from early summer right into autumn.
Fast to bloom, often flowering just 12–14 weeks from sowing, it typically performs from June through to late September or October. Perfect for cottage gardens, prairie‑style planting and any border that needs a touch of lightness and lift.
